Get ready for a thrilling update, Resident Evil fans! The long-rumored Code Veronica Remake is finally here!
Capcom, the masterminds behind the iconic Resident Evil series, have a history of reimagining their classic titles, and now it's Code Veronica's turn to shine.
But here's where it gets controversial... While RE4 Remake has already made its mark, insiders are now pointing towards Code Veronica as the next big remake.
Last week, the renowned Capcom leaker, DuskGolem, dropped a hint, promising a 'C' remake that ends with 'ode Veronica'. And now, another insider, NateTheHate, has taken to Twitter to confirm that Code Veronica is indeed in deep development, with a targeted release date of the first half of 2027.
If this insider information checks out, Capcom is planning to announce the Resident Evil Code Veronica Remake later this year, with a release date set for early 2027.
Since the franchise's major comeback with Resident Evil 7: Biohazard in 2017, Capcom has consistently released RE titles early in the year, with RE Village being the only exception, launching in 2021 after April.
And this is the part most people miss... If Capcom sticks to their current release strategy, we might see a very short gap between the official announcement and the actual release of Code Veronica Remake.
